How the double restriction works
Each weekly choice creates a “used pick” and a separate “used opponent.” Those lists remain independent.
One selection per weekYour chosen team must win outright. A loss or tie eliminates the entry.
Selected team is usedYou cannot select that team again for the rest of Part 3.
Opponent is used againstYou cannot make another future selection against that opponent.
You may still select the opponentA team used as an opponent remains eligible to be your chosen team later, provided you have not already selected it.
Minnesota vs. Miami example
If Minnesota is your pick in this matchup:

MiamiUsed as your opponent
Later: You may pick Miami to win, but you may not select another team playing against Miami. Minnesota cannot be selected again.
Prelaunch status
The contest is stored separately from Survivor Parts 1 and 2. No entries can join and no picks can be submitted until you tell me to activate it.
